![]() Dr. Marshall M. Freilich,B.Sc, D.D.S., M.Sc., F.R.C.D.(C) Dr. Freilich is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and is the President of the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for 2006-2007. He is on staff at the Hospital for Sick Children and Bloorview Kids Rehab (formerly Blorview MacMillan Children's Centre), and is Associate in Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, where he lectures and provides clinical teaching. Dr. Freilich obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at York University in 1987, and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto in 1991. He then completed a General Dental Residency at the University of British Columbia, with clinical rotations at the British Columbia Cancer Control Agency and University Hospital. Dr. Freilich practiced general dentistry for 2 years before pursuing his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dalhousie University, graduating in 1998 with a Master of Science degree. He then pursued an additional year of fellowship training in Pediatric and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, Bloorview MacMillan Children's Centre, Toronto General Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Freilich practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has published several articles in scientific journals pertaining to out-patient reconstructive surgery, pediatrics and sedation. He is a member of the Internal Team for Implantology (ITI), Ontario Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists, President, Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. |
